Ikelite SubStrobe
In Underwater photography terms; light equals color. Adding a Substrobe to your system will bring your subject's reds, oranges, and yellows back with full vibrancy. For close ups, you will gain depth of field, while bringing out details and texture. Larger Substrobes are capable of wide beam angles for wide angle lenses. An external Substrobe will also allow the light to come in at an angle that the photographer picks, a technique for manipulating shadows and minimizing "scatter" from particles in the water.
