The mouthpiece should rest easily in your mouth without having to bite it. This will help prevent jaw fatigue. The lower adjustable part of the snorkel should be turned until the mouthpiece fits comfortably. Most modern snorkels come with a purge valve. Select a snorkel that has a tube with a large opening making it easier to breath.
